Mine did that about 6 months ago, dealer told me it was a common problem and fixed it in a few minutes.
I think they probably just disconnected the battery, as it always comes back from them with the trip information wiped out, the wrong time and an 1/1/2009 date.Andy
My D4 did this other day and it was the fuse. Assuming it's the same for the D3, open the glove box and check the blue 15A fuse, location 64. As soon as I changed it, it came back to life! Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Removed fuses
I removed all the fuses relating to the Sat Nav radio etc and checked them out with a meter. They were all OK. Put them back in again and everything is now working.
