grinding noise as I steer?
MY15 - when I turn the steering wheel I have started getting a dry grinding sort of noise.
Have listened outside the car - nothing
The noise is coming from the steering wheel itself.
Seems to do it at any point from lock to lock.
Seems to get worse as a journey goes on?
Anyone had similar?
Fixes?
Lube or grease - if so what & where?

MY 15 straight to dealer and let them sort it Discovery 3 se gone

Agreed, straight to dealer & tell them to fix it. No if, not buts, no maybes - just fix it.

Mine did / does that. First started before Christmas (2000 miles on it) and they greased a stop?!! Started again now.
I'm adding it the list I'm going to flip about at the first service.
Will26 and on the 4th LR..

Did you get this issue resolved ? Mines started doing the same thing

Was it resolvedMetal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes,pads,callipers,flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)
