Well, go on then. Don't keep us in suspense. Did you do it?

Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it
The good news is that I've decided I want to go for it; I'm happy that they've given me a good deal, but it's the most money I've ever spent on a car by a long way and I'm just doing a bit of financial planning to make absolutely certain that I'll be okay to afford it and still eat!
Currently parked up in the FL2, packed to bursting point, with roof box and daugter's bike on the roof, waiting for family to return from the services. This car is waaayyyy too small!

Don't worry about eating, there are more important things.

HSE with Privacy only (spare wheel now standard)
Firenze Red, Almond and walnut. It's a favourite and just the same colour scheme as the last two FL2's.
Only just got back after two weeks near Welshpool - the cottage was brilliantly remote with access by forest tracks and green lanes Photos to follow.... The owner's promised to let me use his quad next year
John.
PS: I followed a really tidy D3 down the M5 on the way home tonight. It was in black, subtly modified, with the Reg D3 SRF. Is that anyone on here?
PPS: Only one mod being considered; remove "DISCOVERY" from leading edge of bonnet and reinstate "LAND ROVER" to its rightful place!

Photos from Wales as promised:
The route to and from the cottage:
You should have seen this before the slurry was compacted and dried out!:

Back through the ford again:

Stopping by at a breakdown on the roadside and helping out to get a family to their two horses to the "Hot Cross Bun Ride". What a great bunch, got a nice charcoal grilled hot cross bun out of it!:

Stopping and skimming stones and looking for fossils and generally parking up on a dried river bed in the process :

Will look so much better in a D4.
Not that we're biased.
Re fossils, what were you looking for? Graptolites or Gryphaea?

You can't knock me for using it as it should be though
Oddly enough, Graptolites. Found loads!
