Webasto TC3 GSM and Discovery 3 TT-V Fully Compatible !
Hello,
A lot of people told me not possible. I bought TC3 module connect to battery with 1A fuse and only connect webasto pin2. After that put the data sim card and violaaaa. It is perfectly controlled via software also. No any other connection, but you can connect external temperature sensor etc.

I think you mean Voila.
Well done but to be honest, those things are stupidly expensive and there are much cheaper alternatives.Mods:

FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.

I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

Found on local "ebay" for around 380 EUR + 10EUR for app + minimum data package from your telco
Says it controls the vents as well but in the LR case it will just be the FBH, I guess.
Regardless, I like the phone app solution

True but at £215 they are similar money to a BAS FBHIC and they have been very popular. I'm sure many will like the OEM option and the app seems to provide additional feedback on the FBH status.

Agree with that Robbie would be nice to have official webasto app, love to have the feed back of how long it's been running rather than using the stop watch on my phone!

If you could get the interior fans going that would be ideal.
LINK to webasto TC3 SMS instructions, to save others time if they are looking.

Robbie, the reason that TeleStart is said not to work is because the D3 TTV apparently rejects commands sent from a TeleStart client address on the WBUS.
Perhaps ThermoCall uses a different, non-blocked address?
I didn't say it WOULDN'T work, but that it probably wouldn't given the reported experiences with TeleStart.
I am very pleased that it works 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!
