Are you sure your map is set to the Uk map, and it might be worth trying the screen in another D3 to see if you get the same results.

I have fiddled around with the map settings and changed them around a few times and then back to the UK maps.

I'm don't think that the wrong maps would stop the GPS signal. Looking at the GPS diagnostics, there's nothing shown at all.

I'm afraid I don't have a second D3 to try the screen in. And I don't know anyone with a D3 that would let me butcher their wiring to try it!

Out of curiosity, I notice that there is a DAB option that is greyed out.

How would you add DAB to a D3 with a D4 sat nav screen?

Mick I'm assuming you gave D3 BT module?

That is the setting I have already for my D4 BT module, so I assume I leave as is?

I had mine set to BT when I first installed, but didn't get all of the Voice controls, so changed to MMM, but as like you I don't use the VC, it's no great loss, has it fixed the first call issue Mick? Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I would think that's only the map software though?

Actually, I have sent the unit back from where I got it, so I can't look. I didn't take a photo either.

However it's number was BH22-10E887-BD and was from a RRS. The BH22 may have been AH22.

The last owner was in London, as I had a look at all the stored points in the memory, so it was definately a UK supply with UK maps.

Have difficulties to follow the discussion om D3 BT module and D4 BT module.
Do I have to buy a new D4 BT module whwn putting in a D4 screen?
Cost for the new module?
What is the difference and the benefit of changing the module?
Do you recommend to cahange module?

But I have run into s problem Big Cry

The Fakra extension cable does no have the correct ends on to fit my screen?

Cable CT27AA118 as per Robbies link, neither end will go near the screen connection??
