Sounds exactly the same as my problems. I tried replacing tyres and suspension arms/bushes but nothing working.

I only fixed the problem by eventually replacing complete shock absorbers

Cheers maplecottage,

I found this on your thread from before which is also happening with mine.

If the tyres dont make much difference, maybe its your bushes on lower and upper as i have found out on mine. Feels awful in the strong wind im having down here, its as if it were on tram lines or ruts in the road.

Did you drive some kind of sports type car before that making the disco feel floaty?

I had an a4 rs4 replica before on 19 inch wheels lowered and super low profile tyres and the disco felt like a big ship in the ocean!

No, no Bigben.
It was another 4x4 before this one. Well sort of. A vauxhall Antara which was pretty good at towing by the way.

Just to let you know, I put my disco back to the dealer I bought it from and he sent it to the land rover dealer to check it out.
They re-done the wheel alignment(which was slightly out) and checked the ride height sensor which was fine then swapped my good tyres from back onto front.
After testing it on the road it was miles better and I notice the difference as well. Don't know if it was the tyres or the wheel alignment but sorted anyway.
Cheers for your comments.
