Thanks Dickbrowne!
My understanding is that the coin tray fit is the same, but anticipate this is a single tray.
The one in my MY12D4 has 3 slots.
I will confirm this, but I believe a further purchase is unnecessary if you already have a coin tray. Justin

In response to a popular question that has been asked;
VAT is included in the price.
Postage in the UK would be about £8.50 but to Europe there are different prices for each country, as you can imagine although I would have anticipated this would not be more than double the UK delivery price. Justin

Is the fridge the same size as the normal cubby or smaller?

No, it is smaller capacity wise than the existing cubby hole. A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

I cant find the original cubby box dimensions anywhere so that we can confirm this. best thing to do is go and measure then compare with the above.... Justin

I can measure mine later if somebody hasn't already done so by then.
I am basing my statement on the fact that I fitted a cubby cooler just this weekend and the cooler capacity is quite a bit less than the outgoing cubby - think about it, they both have to occupy the same aperture in the centre console but the cooler not only has a big old fan and some wiring on the outside but it also has a couple of cm foam insulation all round the outside that has to be accommodated for.
It is visibly and undoutedly smaller but on the plus side... it is an awful lot cooler than the original cubby.
Cheers,

just a heads up here for any my14 owners.
now that the audio connection bits are in glove box the cubby fridge from older variants will have the cut out for the wire linking to lid on show.

It really doesn't notice that much/at all really. A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

lol, ok, yes I get that there are some additional components involved but it looked to me that the actual opening had been designed the same. Glad you can confirm from experience
so I have measured the non-fridge version internals;
Dimensions: 22cm x 16.5cm x 16.8cm
DiskoStew, do you have a moment to measure the fridge version?;
Dimensions: ?depth?cm x ?width?cm x ?length?cm
Will settle this for us Justin

Will do gladly but not until I get home (car spends it's days at the train station) A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

Internal of the fridge part are
W - 13.5cm
D - 13.5cm
H - 14.5cm
These are the measurements of the white cool part, see pics below:
Bonus pic
I must say that I haven't used mine for months since the draining battery issue, I have had it CONFIRMED on good authority that ONLY the D4 has the auto cut off in it's loom, the D3 DOES NOT, so a D4 fridge in a D3 WILL run your battery flat if you leave it on
I have just bought a Traxide dual charge system, an Optima Yellow Top 4.2, a battery clamp and additional rear charge points plus my Auto technicians labour costs to overcome this problem, all in all it has cost me HUNDREDS of pounds extra on top of the price of the fridge to keep 4 small bottles of water cold in a tiny fridge BUT apparently there is a way to do something in your fuse box, I just want to warn others who may end up in the position I am in that you dare not even open the lid in case the fridge switch is knocked on, having a flat battery and no trust in the fridge is not a nice position to be in, I have the bits for the dual charge and will get them fitted in September when I am back from France.
