I'd be happy with either but have the manual.
just changed the clutch and flywheel at 145k.
Not cheap but it's great to have it back and use all the engine once more. Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Shhhhh don't share, but I have to admit that the 47 year old left knee does give me a little jip when stuck in stop-start traffic for more than 30 mins.....but that's my body failing, not the D3's fault Iggy/Ieuan

Been for a look today, all seems fine. Had a long test drive, everything works as it should. Raised and lowered car a lot! EPB fine. Its a MY08 XS in stornaway with black leather, Factory steps, tints etc. Really good s/h file. Will not go below £12800 which doesn't seem bad looking around at similar models/spec.

agree that they are quicker and better mpg on road but off road the auto command shift is a winner Don’t worry it is supposed to sound like that...honest

I have an 05 manual. I use it around London a fair bit and in crawling traffic I'll put it in low range.
I have had to recalibrate the xy switch once and lost reverse gear (remedied with a new circlip - £120ish).
In my view the less there is in a Land Rover the less there is to go wrong! VIN: A175A328***
