Bosch, Michelin or Valeo Wiper Blades Which Ones?
Just having a look at Steve's website http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/1-bosch-m...-132-c.asp looking for a new set of blades front and rear for my D4. What are people recommending? I can't remember when I bought my last set of wiper blades I normally change the car before they wear out But as there is a 6 month waiting list for a new one it looks like I am going to have to buy some, don't mind paying for quality ones so over to you Cheers Ian

I got some of the Valeo ones a couple of weeks ago - they seem at least as good as any others I've used.
Bosch have a good reputation and I've used them before but for some reason they make one of them shorter than the other for the D4 MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home

I've had BOSCH on for the past 4 months and they have been flawless, the D3 one is shorter than the other by an inch ?
I thought they always had been ?Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I just replaced my blades with Valeo Silencio in December they have a UV indicator on them but that has been washed off now but so far they are excellent.
OK but not totally thump free..
I will try the Michelin ones next....
AJS - aka "boring old git" will no doubt post he told me soBREXIT - done properly.

I fitted the Bosch ones a couple of months ago and apart from having a streak free view, they were noticeably quieter than the Land Rover one's I took off

The Trupart ones are great if Steve's put them up for sale. I tested them, and have had them for a month, needless to say that I have used them quite extensively during that period. Still as good as new.

I bought the Bosch ones based on previous recommendations I read on here.
Even before I fitted them, I was annoyed by the fact that one was shorter than the other. If LR provide 22" wipers for both sides, why does Bosch feel it's necessary to shorten one of them?
I've had the Bosch ones fitted for a few months and already the rear one is failing to wipe some areas of the screen. It also leaves a lot of water around the edges of where it's just wiped which means that it all just drips back down again as soon as the wiper has passed. The rear one is so crap, I'm actually considering putting the old two year old LR one back on. The Bosch ones are not as quiet as I expected either.
Next time, I will try Valeo.

@BLFarrar: AJS and Boringoldgit are not the same person. One sells tyres, the other supplies parts, service items, and all manner of other bits and bobs at very reasonable prices and is an all round helpful chap. He certainly doesn't go about telling people, "I told you so".

For the Disco4, the Bosch guide shows both as 22" and none available for the rear.
I've had silencios from Vaelo before they are good wipers, but I thought they lost there streak free wipe a little quickly, it may have been my tired old screen though
Since having a new screen I've been on eBay cheapies and to be honest they're just fine, I'm out in all weathers on all roads doing circa 2000 miles a month so they've been well tested, the only short coming is missing the top inch of the screen
