Wipers winter park position - ?
Now maybe "I've missed the boat", but over the 8 years of Disco 3 & 4 ownership, I never knew of this function with the Disco ...... just found it out for the FL2.
When parking up, pull down the wiper stalk and turn off ignition.
The wipers then park in the vertical position.
[allows you to put a plastic sheet under the wipers it to keep it ice/frost free and keeps the blades from freezing to the screen]
Is this function on the D3 & D4 and if so, do people know about it ..... or have I just been away too long

As 2 of the 4 heater elements are directly under the normal wiper park position parking them in a different position may be seen as less desirable, but the option would help those without windscreen heating.

Thanks wiggs & Robbie
Reckon with this facility that the FL2 has a heated front screen - mine has and it's not top of the range.
For me it was more a case of that parking vertical there's something to hold down a sheet of plastic.
Will see how it goes when the frost sets in.
