Thats interesting what you were told about the engines. We were told there were new engines in the pipe line but that they were at least 1 months away yet and not even off the drawing board so 12 months was optimistic at best. They also stated the new engine was not tried or tested so could fall foul of problems and be a lot further away.
As for 1st edition we were told 600 world wideMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I think it would be great if all of Martins sites had communal areas across them for subjects that are off topic, general and Brand related. It would be great to get everyone participating in discussions around landrover strategy and model lineup etc.

A good look around on this vid, not sure if it's been posted before. I'm not even sure what he's saying.

He's saying that the best thing about the new Discovery is this secret compartment on the HSE (and above models),which now you've seen on the video, is no longer secret. Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Love this look for the D3, It's up to date with all the 2017 trucks now days for a 2003 concept. Black headlight case, color coded bumper corners & black bumper center and grill. It was a head of its time. The new D5 is behind its time in looks since the Ford Explorer had that look first 5 years ago.
The new Ford Ranger and Bronco will all be square shaped again similar to the D3/Defender for 2018.
