The YouTube clip shows a tiny glimpse, hard to tell but the signs look good. It's clearly going to be a plush upmarket vehicle and leaving the off road all rounder behind but that's what sells in volumes and most stuff coming from the stable these days looks fantastic.

And before you all shout "it's a RRS" look closely, there are a few very subtle differences, the tailgate profiling, roof line etc, it is also actually slightly longer
If you think back to the D3/4 and the older RRS, they shared a common chassis, and body floor pan, and certainly were built side by side, so it would make sense that the 'new' Discovery '5' would follow suit Never get mad - get even !!

Or . . . It has a incorrect year registration, similar to all the 11 plate FFRR's that we're driving around
Similar to my D3 which has a 1979 'V' registration
It's a ploy most car manufacturers use to try and confuse the media (and of course it works so well) Never get mad - get even !!

From the video: 7 seats, discovery lettering at bottom of rear screen or top of tailgate upper before glass. Not impressed with the aerodynamic shape I like the boxy designs.16 D4 Landmark

Seat backs fold over on the seat proper - not good unless they also drop. Having this arrangement in the RRS it gives much less height and storage space than in the disco. Both the FFRR and RRS have nothing like the luggage potential of D3 and are the worse for it. Our old P38 had much more space than then new RRS for the same size outside. The new discovery has to have plenty of loadspace height and width inside or it won't do the job.
Is this Seriously what Land Rover Are planning for the Disco

All looks a bit too Evoque to me Cheers Ian
