More things to check:
*Front suspension bushings (it is a Heavy car) test drive it on cobble road or gravel. You can feel it in the steering Wheel.
*Cam belt and Diesel pump belt (should be replaced at 100.000 miles)
*Check the brakes
*Wheel bearings tend to wear on these cars
*EPB (Electronic parking brake) make sure it works.
*Air suspension (check for leaks or if it sits low) if there is a leak the compressor might work too hard and die!
*FBH (Fuel burning heater) make sure it works. (automatic use in Cold weather) can be run by test computer.
*Removable tow ball - check for exessive play (it will wiggle a Little bit)
