New clunk.... Again

Just had both front arm bushes all changed by the garage I bought the car off and all seemed fine, but now I hear the slightest clunk when pulling off and subsequently when I brake now. I've been under and checked that they've tightened everything up which it seems they have so what could be the cause? Could it have been there all along and was masked by the bigger clunking from the worn bushes I wonder?

The anti roll bar bushes also cause a clunk. Worth a check!

Agree with what nighthawk said

I had the very same thing took me a long time to get it resolved mainly because of the garage incompetence.

Mine was the lower wish bone bushes but they didn't do all the bushes at the same time trying to save money . Sad as it was done under the warenty .

So as a result it took three visits just to change the three joints on each of the front lower wishbone

But once this was done it did reveal another knock

I also had knock from the front Anti roll bar bushes &

track rod ends that i Changed myself

Once the above was done

I also had another knock that turned out to be the rear anti roll bar bushes that I changed myself
