Under the bonnet, the Baby Discovery will use the new range of Hot Fire 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, which are due to be built at a new engine facility in Wolverhampton.
What a load of utter crap these people talk. Sexier? Really. (1) He's talking about a 4x4 car, and (2) this is Britain. Please.
As for the "Hot Fire" engine, I suppose that's been selected because cold fire was too hard to find...What complete clap trap.
Well they must be doing something right at the moment because sales worldwide are pretty impressive to say the least

I'm just starting out with photoshop but I am quite proud of my abilities on the ol' PC. Does this help? I have used CGI to help overcome some of the challenges I faced with depth of field, and taken some artistic licence with Ronnie Corbett's flat cap.

Earlier picture I saw a few weeks ago showed the grill looks similar to the DC100 grill - plastic scoop.16 D4 Landmark

Keep in mind LR are very keen on using other vehicles to test mechanicals. ie FL1 went into a Maestro VAN, RRS into a RR and many others (go have a look at Dunsfold) however that looks BIG for a Freelander......
Good point about the Jag wheels as well. Certainly not anything I want to see on a LR :>
I wish the would stop d1cking around with perfectly good motors and get the new Defender/DC100 stylee out!

Are we 100% sure this is meant for LR and not Jaguar? Jaguar is supposed to have its SUV soon (unless I am mistaken) and it would make perfect sense that LR build this car for Jaguar. Indeed this seems way to big for a Freelander.

It doesent look LR to me apart from the rear light clusters, but as said they do like disguising things as maestro vans so almost anything is possible ?
The front end is a big step away from the current look and appears too chiseled ?
My first impression was Jaguar ?
Which apparently will share the same platform as the RRS & New Discovery ?
To be built in the new building which was under construction when we did out tour before Xmas
I think the guide said completion for the building would be Easter
They need to get the new RRS out of the FFRR production line ASAP so they can maximise that line to capacity as at present its shared.
I still stand by my earlier post and think JaguarOnly dead fish go with the Flow !
