Didn't realise this... Embarassed
what happens when the sunroof motor fails....can the motor be removed & the glass slid manually ?
I had to do the this a couple of time on a specific Volvo that had a Golde roof..
Then I got a manual cranking handle from a 240 & found this fitted the mechanism - he presto manual roof system....
 BREXIT - done properly.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Tried moving it by hand once but didn't get very far. With everything disconnected it will move but when we a couple of us tried to get one to close we applied power direct to the motor and used pin 6 and the button to get it to shut. Once shut the owner decided to give up and leave it shut.

It wouldn't do anything so I dropped the headlining a bit to access the drain tubes, I had already cut the ends off, drivers side wasn't too bad, both passengers were blocked, got a mouthful of water and blew it down them, all flowing well from behind arch liners but I'm sure the back is still leaking into the 3rd footwell.
