That product brief talks about the USB port moving in glovebox to make way for the JLR blackberry integration in MY15 Discovery?

So MY15 will not be "Discovery 5"?

Or will it be same shape with alloy underpinnings? A-la-frankfurt news stories?
Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

Well to be controversial like DG I think it's really ugly! It's starting to look like an old RRS.....
Like the functions though... They obviously read this forum..
We've all previously (well I have) moaned about the useless forward facing cameras which are rubbish and take too long to get up on screen to be useful... So they've put a one touch button and the cameras finally face out the front sides...
And they've bought back the rear air con which I always thought was a swiz buying a Lux model to find a cheap blanking plate trim in the back!
Might hold onto mine a bit longer ........

Looks OK but we really need to get some hard facts on the D5 and when it will replace the D4. I like a number of others here will be looking to change in about 15 months time and would like to stick with the brand but am not that keen on the changes so far, if there is no definative info then I may look at other brands.

There is a limit as to how long LR can get away rehashing a car that really dates back to 2004. If FL3 (or Small Discovery) is due late 2014 then the money might be on D5 (or Big Discovery) being due in late 2015. I'm just waiting for that now. If I'm going to blow £55k I'm as well spending it on something that will still look fresh by 2016.

United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

The reduction in Co2 is a useful if small saving but I wonder whether stop-start equates to a real world improvement in MPG. I drive my wife's company Beemer 520D and stop start doesn't come on that often (we don't do much/any town/city stuff)

I'm using my 54 plate manual as a baseline - 27-28MPG on country lanes, 30-33 on long runs - wonder if MY14 auto will be significant gain - might wait for offers when clearing existing model before new model comes in 2016 otherwise looking to Freelander 3 in 2015, hopefully with efficient new "Wolverhampton" engines.

The LR badges are now a darker green Big Cry

So now we have to get new rear LEDs, new green badges and move the indicator into the mirror.

Oh, and also get a Discovery lettering for the bonnet off ebay. Thumbs Up

That's what you get when you spend 10p on a facelift.

What the hell is a projected image of the Discovery shape from the wing mirrors ???

Quote : "Following a similar strategy effectively executed on Range Rover Evoque, Discovery will have approach lamps mounted in the underside of the mirrors, projecting their own unique insignia as shown below."
