I've kept the original filter, which had only done 3k miles, any engine troubles that need warranty work shouldn't be an issue, but as others have already suggested, the original filter could be easily put back in.
I don't think that anyone would argue against the fact that the ITG unit is of higher quality than the oe filter!

Just done a 987 mile round trip. I fitted the incredible technically good air filter that is available from several sources, which is made by a tuning company in Coventry before I left. Guess what my mpg has gone up from 23 to 27.
