Knocking wipers - cured

Read a few posts on here about the issue of wipers knocking and how a replacement arm should cure it, so ordered one from Matford as they have a job lot going cheap.

Swap is done, took me all of 5 mins (thanks to the neat little wiper arm puller tool I bought a few years back!)

Nice quiet wipers once more Thumbs Up

I think it is down to the spring weakening over time and not applying the full pressure to the blade, good £10 spent

Got mine winging its way from Matford as I type. Will get it fitted as soon as it arrives and before it gets nippy. Mr. Green

Worth getting the removal tool, saves a lot of aggro

Got the wiper arm puller with recent Amazon purchases. However left the replacement arm down souff so can't change it for a while. Big Cry Big Cry

Any sign of a similar deal anywhere for the LH wiper arm? Whistle

The part we need is LR038119 but they seem to retail for ~£50 everywhere! Shocked

EDIT: £32.60 from Shukers Parts:

The description of RH and LH is confusing, I changed the driver's side arm which is the RH one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-DISCOVER...4885cfdaf0

Made a huge difference, no more knocks but for silent operation I probably do want the passenger side or LH one too if anyone spots any deals?
