And greetings from Paris. Just a couple of lazy days in a bit of luxury, need that after all our adventures. The plan is just to flop before the fun and frolics of getting home in the rail strike lull. We’ve been upgraded to a suite with a balcony and view of that tower thingie that this place is famous for.

And for those feeling a mite peckish, this was part of the evening nibble buffet last night. With champers of course.

Lots to see and do in Paris but that’s for a later trip, for now it’s just slobbing and bit of mild indulgence. Mr. Green Mr. Green

I can imagine you going through that like Zoidberg at an all-you-can-eat buffet

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Certainly had to behave myself after breakie, front lobby was full of big-wig hangers-onners (lots of expensive suits and one US Navy lady Captain) and assorted security, including US Secret Service. Note to the latter, don’t have big SS logos on your big armoured SUVs if you wan to stay secret! Laughing Laughing Lots of S Korean dudes as well. We did think it might be all for us but wasn’t. Big Cry Big Cry

No pics as didn’t want to get arrested and/or shot this close to end of trip. Whistle Whistle

Now those are phrases I haven’t used in a long time, and usually when playing in the sandbox! Shocked

And greetings from home. Thumbs Up Good to be home, sleeping in our own bed and finally getting some serious laundry done. Mr. Green Mr. Green

Good trip, our first around Europe by train. Not too bad a journey back yesterday, as usual Eurostar was late (100% late for them, they need to have a word with their Italian cousins), Tube was fine and plenty of time for a bit of food shopping at Waterloo before our final leg home.

Fave places: Venice, closely followed by Switzerland. Thumbs Up

And for those that took slots the weight difference sweepstake, +6.6lbs. Now on strick diet hoping to get back to my racing snake physique before next trip. Not sure I’ve got enough time. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
