Update,, so first things first no more cancer.
Replaced the hpfp belt + tensioner, old belt was intact but signs of age.
No change. Cracked a fuel injector, barely a weep whilst cranking.
Removed the aux belt to aid faster cranking, still not firing up.
Scanned with Snap-on tool, no codes.
Thinking it’s the hpfp itself.

What's the lp side doing?
If there was a fault with the hpfp there has to be a code!! Unfortunately the lp side is not monitored beyond the relay so there won't be codes for that!
Remember too the fault could lis elsewhere but in any event there has to be a code stored if there's a fault. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Hi, I’m not sure what to try next.
I have a lr tech looking into it, he has checked cams are moving crank is ok, fuel at injectors (well, lack of).
Air filter clean, scanned with his scanner = no codes relevant to this problem.

There are two sensors on the hpfp, one for volume and the other for pressure. Both are actively monitored by the PCM and if either does not meet the required specs a fault code will be generated.
Perhaps you need to use a dedicated LR diagnostic tool before you shell out a lot of money. There has to be a fault code if there is a fault present. That's the way the system is designed, so either you do not have a fault and the issue lies somewhere simpler. Or, your diagnostics are not picking up the "actual faults"
