The old adage, you get what you pay for is generally true. Then again so is a fool and his money are easily parted...
I have not read or heard of a LR that lost a wheel due to poor quality nuts. Maybe there will be a first but there you go.
There is another post on the forum where people (who are much cleverer than I) are making, fitting and using their own adaptive cruise control on their vehicle. I'd be more concerned about that failing than 5 wheel nuts per wheel..
But that is just me..

I don’t think it’s a case of the wheel nuts failing but more of the unsealed covers rusting underneath, swelling and then not being able to remover them. For £60 it’s worth a look to see if they are of acceptable quality... there are plenty of cheaper options on eBay but I wouldn’t use those, I also don’t think that paying over £200 for set of wheel nuts is something I’m prepared to do... others would disagree but have a much more valuable car that will last them far longer than my 15 year old girl will..I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Well they’ve arrived and look very nice, were well packed (individually wrapped) and are well painted.
Will be fitting them as soon as I can collect the wheels I bought off Jim so will add more then I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

They are the same one I purchased from the USA. All work good. Only difference I can see is my chrome nuts had two washers and these only have one. But the is no flex when doing them up or undoing them. I'm happy as it took me an hour to remove one chrome nut whose cap was going around and the nut underneath was rusty.
