I eventually plumped for the wrington ones for my 'new to me XXV' as they also matched the sheen of the wheel. My Indie had not seen them before but commented upon them as being the best he had seen.
They should be for the price but at the end of the day I think you get what you pay for....
We shall see....

Fingers crossed they do the job, she's a hard working truck so the wheels are on and off frequently

I take it the US ebay ones don't have the cap on them like the LR genuines then? Says chrome plated? They're a bargain if they aren't the capped style.

Definitely no caps, that was a condition of the order. I wanted the black ones although they have plain stainless and also chrome.

I bought capped non genuine, took the caps off, put some roofing felt mastic glue in the cap and then refitted them.
No rattles, they won't come off and water can't get in.
Job done.

What price did that work out y Nigethecat?
Was there a UK link or can you order them from The US or Oz and ship to the UK?
Cheers

£62 all in including post and taxes...
I have a US eBay account (from the days before eBay.co.uk!!!!) so copied the exact title off the eBay.AU link and then just went directly to EBay US, ordered from there and changed the shipping address .... simples.... I”ll am interested in solid ones for obvious reasons, BUT what worries me on ebay is: who made them? And were? What brand? I see a fancy text, with “state of the art laboratory’s”. Well all my alarm bells are ringing then... i see a lot of “asian” company’s selling from abroad country’s pretending (by not saying/mentioning) that they “are” from the country where they advertise their product...
Bottom line:
I have difficulty’s to trust such nuts on my LR wheels...
In my business, motorcycles that is,it is known that there are flywheel bolts arround, sold as 10.9, but un marked/brandless, who actually are made from “cheese” They snap off during driving at normal revs and speeds....Best regards
Harold
