Evening all, new owners of D3 HSE ‘08. Previous D2 owner, reasonably handy with spanners. Currently sorting out droopy suspension!

Hi all,
Newish Disco 3 owner, made the switch when our RR Vogue died this Spring.
Our Disco is stock at the minute but we're looking to tinker with it.
First up will be sourcing a second set of wheels with General Grabbers (or similar) on to improve off road ability as we're using the car for field sports this autumn.
Cheers
Nick

Evening all. Remiss of me not to pop in here first and say hi.
I've got a pair of Defenders, but the plan is they are doing to be sold shortly, and replaced by a D3.
It'll be a revelation to get somewhere on time, and arrive without hypothermia or hearing loss.
Cheers all🍻🍻🍻

Hi All,
My names Martin, I was here before several years ago when I had a 4.4 petrol D3, absolutely loved it. Then my then missus went round the bend, we split up and I ended up with nothing!!
Anyway, I eventually bounced back and after spending ridiculous money on cars and things and have now ended up with a Disco 4 HSE, like an old glove.
I swapped jobs and location so feel more settled now, but can't remember my old log in details.
Nice to be back.
Martin

Hey folks ,
Looking to purchase a disco 3 and joined this to learn and find out about them
Nervous about all the horror stories about disco 3 repairs and reliability issues but when you want a 7 seater, with lots of space , tow a caravan, and not too posh so that you can go to the beach and the tip without fearing that it will ruining the car interior them this is the car for me and the family
Would appreciate any advice and guidance

Hi folks just bought myself an 07 Disco 3.
Had myself a few Defenders and a Range Rover buy always fancied a Disco, so looking forward to it.
First issue is the air suspension, going up and down at the back but not at the front.
Coming up with an amber warning light … hopefully it’s a simple fix … levelling sensors maybe, air leak or compressor fault?
Cheers,
Scrappy.

Hi Steve do a quick search this has been covered before.
I think it has been solved before by cleaning the fibre optics cable Andrew
D3 2.7tdv6 2005
D4 3.0 SDV6 Commercial died and gone to LR heaven
D5 3.0 SDV6 HSE
