Hi, just joined and what a help this is. I have had 3 discovery 3's previously in between moves to other makes and models over the past 10 years but they always draw me back. I am now in a D4/LR4 Corris Grey Black Pack model and have to say, they are the most capable vehicle I know off with an endless list of uses. Very pleased to be back in one to say the least.

Once again bought a D3. After selling my previous one the pain was too great so have now bought another one and as always this site continues to be a god send for info tips and parts...
So thought I'd say hi and hope everyone is doing well given the world we are in at the moment!

Evening all. I’m new here. Have recently sold my RRS TDV8, and have a 2010 Bali blue Discovery coming in a couple of days. It’s a one owner 36k mile car. My Range Rover was very little trouble to me and I’m hoping for a similar ownership with the disco.

Hi guys
New member here. Just bought a 06 2 seater Disco 3. Came out of the factory on springs. Very tidy. No tow bar ever fitted.
I'm no stranger to Land Rovers but this is my first Disco 3. Looking forward to getting stuck in and making a few comfort mods.
Based in Ireland just outside Dublin.

New member here. Just bought a base model 05 7 seater Disco3, all good but for a misted up headlight unit and the silly before me disconnected the reversing sensors cos they were staying on!
Big car to reverse safely without sensors so could do with some help in getting them working.
Headlight sorted with a replacement.
Car has 116k miles with full service history including CAM belt - not sure if oil pump needs replacing with upgraded version as no record of it being done - any advice?
Also any advice on other engine updates would be welcome - need to keep it reliable as I love it!

BHAman - if you are unsure that the oil pump has been replaced then the advice on here is get it changed now, better be safe than sorry. For the parking sensors, the search function is your friend. Hi
In the near future I will be looking for a discovery three. I'm wondering if it's better to get a cheaper broken engine model and do an engine rebuild or just buy a regular one and hope for the best? I thought that buying one through this site might guarantee a better more reliable D3.
