Taking it back in morning , they said it might be the idle ing valve ?

Make sure they have fitted the pipes on the fuel filter the correct way round, it is possible to put them the wrong way round on pre 2007 cars. The genuine filter comes with a special clip and colour code sheet to ensure they are fitted correctly.

Would this make it jumpy on idle , it drives ok when going ?

Make sure it's an original LR filter that they fitted, I had loads of problems with a non-genuine one
