Suspension rising slowly after AMK compressor installation |
|
Removed my old Hitachi a week ago, and popped an new AMK in its place, for 'preventative' reasons (car now 7.5 years old). Did the AMK software update too with the IID, uneventfully.
Had 'suspension raising slowly' message couple of times since. Usually after down to access mode, then up to off road mode (one cycle only). Front does seem very slow to rise (it's always been slower than the rear, for the last 3 years that I've had the car).
No overheating warnings. All seems well otherwise. No sinking corners, or dropping front/rear overnight etc etc.
Anything to worry about? I'm tempted to think not, but just interested in the views of the experts on here. Maybe just because new software runs system at lower pressure?

Wouldn't be too worried. Don't forget to rise from access the compressor has to refill the reservoir then refill the air springs so it is usually slow unless its been running in access mode for long enough to fill the reservoir up
