dealers here are very active
we looked to drive to Chengmai Thailand a few mths back ( went to Sri Lanka instead)
local jeep club wanted 150 quid to do it ( quite ok as includes rooms)
LR dealer. 300 each person....same route and hotels...
also these long trips require servicing before ( as you will overun you 6k km service.interval )and need one when you get back....its a win win for dealers.
I quite fancy a trip to inner Mongolia. we had quite a few students from there this year.It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

Much bigger market and audience to capture in China than the UK. They've already got us "hooked".
