Don't get it Supagarded by the dealer. Google supagard and find a local franchisee who will come and do it for a lot less. My dealer wanted £400 and I got it done inside and out for £250.
Thank you for the tip. Useful to know.
I have just discovered (pardon the pun) that I need to have a tracker installed. Any thoughts on this Dealer or elsewhere? The dealer wants around 400 + 150 a year subscription.
Thanks

If you don't want the expense of a tracker, change your insurance company. Not all insist on a tracker. I changed from LV to Tesco for this reason and the quote was cheaper!

I went with Land Rover insurance this year. Not the cheapest, but off road cover and no need for a tracker.

Picked it up. What a fantastic vehicle. Glad I went for the black pack. 38 mpg on way home, but was only tickling throttle. Will upload photos when I figure out how to.
Only problem is my username on this forum as I am sure "my first landrover" wont be my last.
Awesome vehicle so far.

I presume you bought it somewhere with considerably more altitude than home?

Yes there was a fair bit of coasting involved
If I can get 30 consistently I will be well pleased.

Hubby seems to be managing ~30 mpg so far with a MY12 so it should be reasonably possible He isn't doing a lot of city driving at the moment though so if you do that it could well be a bit lower.
