May I ask how much the pipes were? You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

Waiting for final bill but quoted £138+vat for pipes. Labour likely to be high took a long time to find leak even with luminous dye.

Cool thank you. I suspect the rear pipes on mine are leaking somewhere. You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

"quoted £138+vat for pipes"
Where was this from? Is this an easy DIY job?
Mine are split, and LR wanted give or take £400 to replace and ragas.

I have the OEM front-rear aircon pipe for sale for £100 if anyone wants it. Ordered and then not used and still in the box.
PM me if you are interested.

Anyone know if this is a simple DIY job, and then get the dealer to gas.

Kwik fit will re-gas for £49.99 and no charge if there's a leak or the air con is no cooler when they've re-gassed it. You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

It all depends on how easy the pipes are to change.
Anyone ever done it DIY?
how do they connect?

£138 was only for the pipes not the fitting work etc. Aircon totally packed up again so now back at the indie. Maybe I need a local LR specialist. Just to add to it all now have EPB locking on at various times. (Just put it in to P at moment)
Love the car hate the reliability issues!!

I have got a small drip under my07 suspect aircon.
i know it is normal for water to drip when u have been running the aircon but can someone tell me where abouts the drip should be dripping.
i have taken my covers off underneath and it is dripping onto the gearbox casing near where the gear stick is direct above it.
aircon is working fine and is cold enough .
cheers guys

Yes that is where the air con condensation drains are normal to drip when on. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
