EPB Fault Indication

More EPB Issues.

done 450 miles since service and EPB shoes strip, clean and new fitting kit, go out to D3 tonight to fit new wipers, turn ignition on to test badly needed new wipers and there on the dash, EPB fault Censored

Switched it off in disbelief/anger/frustration, started back up, no message. Started engine and released and reapplied EPB. No issues.

Confused. Please help

when you say EPB fault, do you mean that you have the dreaded amber light showing?

if so, in my experience this happens for a number of reasons, some are never explained. Mine kept showing and it was a bad battery. I also had it show when my EPB switch was faulty.....although with this the EPB did not work, but if it works ok I would check your reverse lights and brake light bulbs.......mine has "ambered" when both these have had a bulb out!

let us know how you get on, BP
