Right, it's hard tell from all the above but the tent is still for sale, have had a few interested folks PM me and one of them may yet take the plunge but nobody's committed to buy yet so it's still available if anyone else is tempted.... The End

To be clear it will not fit my roof rack in the normal way, cutting up the roof rack is not an option due to where it would need to be cut, placing it lengthways would fit but I can't be clambering out of a roof tent and then trying to get onto a ladder at the side i.e. my fixed ladder you would need to be an olympic athlete which I certainly am not  It would also mean to use the tent you would need to remove everything else from the roof rack so as they say I'm out, but thanks for giving me the info I required to be out
