On the A44 near Hereford/Leominster, though I'm normally down Guildford way for a day or two every other week so if you fancy a jaunt up the M3 should be fairly easy to get it to you
Will call you (assuming that's your number I've just edited out of your post ) The End
Yes if you made some brackets to fit it level with top of the rack sides or cut one of the sides off so you could open the tentThe End

Hmm, don't think I would want higher for stability issues, I have the roof rack off at the moment so cutting is an option but a one way thing and would need to be permanent, do you have the dimensions so I can see what would need cut and how it would fit with the side stanchions. Thanks
It approx 145 x 120 cm, hinges on the long side so would be 145 x 240 when openThe End

OK, a bit of a problem if I am cutting, the length falls right in the middle of 2 x stantions see below, so I can't see me fitting it on without more welding and galvanising
Big enough to fit it inside it then, just need to take the ladder off the tent The End

Now that 'was' a good idea BUT
Inside measurement is 143.2cm
The box tubing is all 10cm square, I gave you the external measurement. Just measured 145cm and that is from the inside of one side to the outside of the other, so 10mm too narrow! can you re measure the width, I can't change my measurement but maybe you have 1cm width give in yours. Don't want to be ripping it when opening it though!
I actually think the box sides are nearer 20cm, see pics above, all the same profile square tubing all round.

Have measured up length, an issue I have, well two are firstly the tent packaged will be permanently over my sunroof as it will need to be fixed forward, secondly with my steps at the side of the rear it is going to be aping to climb into, so sorry, if we could have got it on the normal way then fine but this going to be a bit messy and leave no room on the roof for anything else without removing it before opening the tent.
I will leave it for the moment but appreciate help with sizes
Would have to climb up, over then right and crawl in, to get out would be harder coming out backwards left up and over, too difficult with a hangover
