My opinion:
1st - IID Tool
2nd - Hawkeye (I have one)
3rd - Faultmate FCR
If you want the very best and are prepared to pay handsomely for a tool that will quite a bit of learning then the Faultmate MSV remains the most powerful tool there is.

Just activated my IID Tool. Fantastic power for the price. Can do more than Hawkeye or Faultmate FCR
I read my fault codes, cleared a few there were logged, monitored live values, and also raised my suspension 15mm to compensate for the larger-than-stock tyres I have. It can be a bit fiddly to use with CC buttons and reading stuff on that tiny LCD screen on the instrument cluster, but that weakness is also an advantage as the thing can go with you wherever you go. No need to drag laptops and USB cables around with you.
Faultmate MSV remains the best and most powerful, but at 3 times the price I couldn't justify it Dennis
