When did they stop offering manual as an option , seen a few d4 commercials with the 2.7 engine , did they do any manuals with the 3.0ltr

I can only think its emissions.....the current test is heavily stacked against manual boxes,as the EU test decides at what point in the rev-range a manual should change ratio....and that may not be very economical in certain cars.
Autos can be software programmed on ratio-change points and therefor can be made to "artificially" produce lower emissions than a manual....
Last one I saw was my neighbour had a 2.7 '59 plate manual....can't answer exactly when they stopped them,I assume due to the change in emissions testing, but I'm sure somebody will be along in a minute "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
