Adding cornering lights to xenon headlights
Right Guys
Is it possible to fit the cornering lamps into xenon lights, there is the diameter marked in the reflector part of the light. I was wondering if you can drill this out ???????Mods:-

I think someone on here did that. You’ll need to make up wires to add to the plug and a CCF edit with something like an IID tool

Did this about 3 years ago, can't remember the details, still working good.
ISTR I got the pins from Mapplins, they came with short wires ready connected, I will have hunt and see if I have any left

I’ve cornering lights on my xenons and I think they are one of the best mods I did. Out of quriosity I just looked into my old halogen headlights. The reflector is scored to brake out the hole for the bulb but the bulb holder is missing. I’m sure if someone wanted to they could glue a bulb holder to the back to match the pics above.

I think you will find its a plug exactly like the photos above It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
On the D3, can you get the plug out of the light after you've unclipped it? I was looking on my D4 with Xenons and if I push the plug in to allow me to fit the lights, the plastic will be rattling around.

The plug is literally a dummy bulb, I got mine out in one piece but I can't remember how, I'm certain I didn't have to split the lamp It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
I had a look and it seems to push in from the front, inside the light and there's no room to pull it out once it's loose. I know the D3 lights can be separated by heating them for de-tangoing, but not the D4s.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

De-Tango plus cornering mods
D3 or LR3 2005 SE, no cornering lights, non adaptive halogen main beams. I want to add cornering lights, and am de tangoing the HL as well as adding in the Angel Eye DRL's possibly.
Also believe someone sells a blackout kit with strips to cover the silver rectangle under the main beams, a side strip, and a top strip for inside the headlight, makes it more like a modern D4 I guess. I could always paint that in if delivery is late. &t=327s this is the video on the headlight mod I found.
So would I need a socket for the cornering light add on? or just the wiring into the pin plug of the headlight?
IS there a kit with what is needed out there yet? As I know this is an old thread.
I have the CCF covered as I have the IID tool. Would I need to flash the ECU cause right now the IID tool says not fitted if I remember correctly.
Has someone done a write up on this? I looked but none found.
If a socket is needed where can I find one?2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
