D4 Remote Climate (FBH) Key Fob £19 on Ebay
My D4 came with a Telestart T91 remote for the FBH but needed another for the wife. £80-odd from LR was not an option so got a secondhand one from a forum member for £30. When I needed another I turned to ebay and made a successful offer of £19 (inc del) for a new one against his £24.95 listing.
So now have 3, at very different prices (original LR on left, forum purchase then ebay on right):
Yup, that's where I got my spares from also and they've never failed

I like the "remove before flight" tags
I need to get something along those lines to remind me that the solar panel is plugged into the rear 12v socket before I start up the car and blow the panel Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

Any owner can do it - remove fuse 2 from the battery junction box and within 5 seconds of pushing it back in you press the 'off' button on the remote. That's it.

I have a 12MY HSE but the FBH is a pain in the rear end. Has a mind all of its own. Will not run when cold but when I return from a journey to town it is merrily bubbling away. Rarely starts and runs on the timer. Is it really as easy as Robbie says? Get the remote, remove and replace the fuse and all systems go?

Yes as my initial post said, my D4 already has the remote kit and the pairing instructions are just for adding additional remotes. I thoroughly recommend adding the feature though by either adding it to the factory order on the HSE / HSE Lux or adding it afterwards for all other models (factory option on lower models is poor value).

I hang a red ribbon on my steering wheel when I connect the car to a Ctek.
Forgot to do so once and took the cable for a 26 mile drive…
