Hi

Sometime over the next 3 months we need a new car I want a D3 HSE, however I have some questions and Im told this is the place to find my answers....

Ok so my questions as followes.....

1: Fuel costs

What MPG can I expect?
How much to fill up a tank?
How many miles will a tank do?

2: What to look out for

Anything major I should look out for? Iv had a Defender before so Im prepared for anything.

3: Servicing costs

Iv heard several different variations of servicing costs, not sure who to beleive. I know alot depends on where you take etc but a rough estaimate perphaps from peoples on experience....

Im still trying to convinve my Mrs it's the right thing to do, she wants an Audi A4 estate. So any welcome tips to push her towards the D3 would go down well I think.

Thanks in advance.

First step: buy SWMBO a box set of Keeping Up Appearances in order to help her achieve the right mindset
Second step: brief the sales guy in advance so that when he meets your mrs he can bang on about the improved mpg from the 8 speed box; excellent residuals; interest free £20K for 12 months [that is what i have been offered plus 7-8% discount]
Fourth step: test drive
Fifth step: bobs your uncle Thumbs Up
