Land ranger dee side 4x4 quoted approx £25 each plus £45 labour to do the hoses at 6 years, they did say that they would usually only recommend if corroded.

Beware though, warranty direct are very strict on "servicing precisely to manufacturers schedule" policy. Give em an inch...........

Get em done is my thoughts.

Land Rover brake hoses are unlikely to be like Land Rover ball joints.

Or their EGR valves, their EPB modules, their crappy SAT NAV, their ARB bushes, all the rest of their suspension components, their turbos (at a stretch), the alternators, their seat pads.... Whistle
Agree your point about the lines. 10 years seems right with checks where they may corrode at the attachment points.
What I finding interesting is that on the Australia forum, the blokes tend to be saying that standard of reliability, the Land Cruiser/Prado, now that it has been updated a bit, is starting to make the D3/4's look reliable. Maybe like Land Rover, Toyota is now buying Denso, (their subsidiary), with regards to electrical and the like - you never know.

Apparently this is progress. I wonder if this is an opportunity for Lucas? Laughing
