I've been running General AT's for a month or two and never had any sliding in wet corners.
Maybe I'm not trying hard enough!

I mustn't be trying hard enough either, most of my driving is on country roads and lately it's been quite wet and I do tend to press on but never had a problem with corners, very sure footed. Also found them to be good on the green lanes I've done . Cheers Ian

There is nothing wrong the fantastic General AT tyres, just a few die-hard Pirelli ATR users who think they are better. Just drive them hard and enjoy them.
By the way the latest score is now General 21 Pirelli 6, not bad for a week and still Sat morning to go.
The boys are complaining that they are "tyred" what do you expect you are tyre fitter's I keep telling them

The best All-Season, All -Terrain and Mud-Terrain for 2011 (in the USA) are:
http://www.consumersearch.com/suv-tires
No surprise that the Pirelli ATR wins the best All-Terrain tyre. But why don't Pirelli give us the 50,000 mile tread warranty in the UK ?
If you don't venture off-road too often then the GG HTS could be the answer for those who only want one set of tyres. Is it available in the UK?

What about the standard D3/4 sizes? I'd have thought that the HTS could be popular.

I feel very sure that if you tried the HTS vs AT, the latter would be a lot better, not knocking the HTS as it's a very good tyre but it's not as popular as the AT.
Will try and get a list of all HTS sizes available in the UK.
