Hi
I need help please, im not a technical expert so forgive any silly terms...
I have an 06 Disco3 with a sat nav problem, the car does not seem to know where it is...there is a line through the GPS logo on the screen. I have had the ariel changed but still it does not know its position. I can still enter a destination and it seems to find it but it cant take me there because it does not know where it is....I have read some threads on updated discs, could this be the issue?....I didnt even know they exsisted. Any ideas or help would be greatly received. Thanks

I stand to be corrected but I can't see it being an issue with the disc, that's used for the map data. Sounds like a reception problem, faulty GPS antenna or wiring

The GPS antenna is in the high level brake light housing The End

Check the connection on the back of the sat nav unit under the seat it may have been kick and dislodged, when you say you can input a route and it excepts it, does the map move but the cursor does not stick to the road,it just moves accross the map if so it might be the wheel speed sensor not working.
Go in to the test mode on the touch screen in nav mode and check the gps out this will give you some information, if nothing then its the coax cable broken or a fault in the sat nav unit if you have changed the aerial.
