The Discoeast design looks neat and short when folded out - would address my point of wanting a hinge-down feature for opening tailgate in cramped spaces. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. why not design it around the idea of integrating it into top of the tailgate sort of mounted like the ladder is with HD gas struts and all???

I don't think the hinges or glass would like that or the tailgate catch. I can resist everything except TEMPTATION

If it all goes to plan it could be fitted either to the left or the right I can resist everything except TEMPTATION

So, with one each side for two wheels the back end could begin to look like a cattle float when it's all opened up! I know this is about a wheel carrier, and you havn't even shown us a prototype yet but ..... with one arm opening out each side and locking into place there would be the basis for mounting into the ends of the arms to put up a frame for an awning to give shelter to someone working or cooking on the tailgate. Not as elaborate as the tents, just two sides and a top. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. How do you attach the high-lift jack to lift a D3? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
