Hi All, wondering if anyone could help me? I have an 05 disco the keys feel as if they want to snap and the lock does not budge. I have just bought a new lock and 2 keys from Landrover. I was hoping for instructions in the box but no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

had same problem recently - first use loads of wd 40 in the keyhole to make sure the key fits properly, when it does you need again to apply loads of wd 40 to all parts and allow to soak in - pref overnight - if it still has not eased off use mole grips to twist down - it should eventually budge and you can release it... Thanks for the reply. I have drenched it with wd40 still does not budge. The key just bends each time.
Any other suggestion?

we also removed the roller pin . But managed after a lot of patience to get the key properly into the lock. Needs togo fully in before it wil turn 45 degreesl Disco 4 HSE 2010
