Let not knock it too much, I am sure there is a reason, memory says the batteries were also going in the nose? I was just curious on choice of position, hence the question, down between chassis rails would be my first choice if there is room but perhaps that space is already in use for the 150L beer tank?

Water tank is fitted there as its wasted space . I dont intend carrying water to site ,.
If the nose weight is not right i can always add water .
I dont have to add a pump to supply the cold water ..gravity fed
Thats a few plus points .
Only downside i can see is filling the tank . I have a float switch that will be fitted to the top of the tank , so when the tank is full , it will shut off the filling pump .G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I work for a pump manufacturer ...it would be rude not to have a couple on board
I will also have a hose connection
Fitted the roof today ..cleaned up , waterproof sealant and waterproof rivets. Tommorow i will give it the water test and see if its sealed ok
