Steering Angle Sensor SAS

Thanks to this site and answers to disco3 having a hdc and collapsing suspension issue found that the SAS ring was detached. Have fixed in place but still have the same issue. When reset the sensor with nanocom it shows it’s calibrated but with wheels straight ahead the steering angle degrees shows -178. Does that mean the sensor is knackered too or any other things worth tri g before fitting new one? Thanks

Just recalibrate with the wheels straight and if you have secured the ring to the shaft correctly it should now function
Thumbs Up

Thanks for reply. That’s what I have done and when re calibrate with wheels ahead showing the -178 which leads me to thing sensor broken. Though thought see if there may be something else before pay out on a new sensor as rather expensive 🙄 only other thought is the nanocom not working correctly ??
