Hopefully it is not a leak.
I was hoping it might be trying to get to a height it cant reach.
Can't do a height calibration. The heights I am entering it just keeps saying its out of tolerance.
So frustrating!

Clear all the faults first and use the "guided calibration" Thumbs Up

Edit: you might want to start a different thread!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Went to Stratstone and bought a new ride height sensor £84.82 + VAT and my problem is fixed Thumbs Up
Copy sensors are no good for nothing.

So thank you everyone for your help. Just need to fix the problem of the compressor running constant now and I'm laughing!

Have a great day,
James

Hi

Awesome it was the sensor , indeed also heard that ref cheap height sensors

Just pleased it’s sorted out

Plus 1 , ref looking at the live data on ur compressor , also can use some soapy water around the compressor dryer cap and around all the joints

Air tank is also a favourite for leaking , the seam on top of it rusts and leaks , but of course can be various things, dryer cap, air tank, struts , the list goes on

Try putting it into off road height , engine off and then see if u can hear anything , please please don’t get under it without axle stands ,

Plse let us know how u get on

As prof g says , also wondering if there’s a leak is causing the height sensors to change and the calibration software is picking that up

Before I forget , when I was chasing a leak I found it would only leak in off road height , is was when the rubber on the struts were exposed , in access and normal height the rubber went inside the metal surround of the strut and stopped leaking , so might pay u to also check at different heights

Hope that helps a little

Hi buddy

Wonder if because of a leak the height sensors are changing as it’s trying to calibrate the suspension

Indeed mate ref the height sensors , some of those cheap copies arnt worth having , must admit when I rebuild all my suspension I replaced all the valve blocks with genuine

Hope ur good
