Any ideas what it could be? Its coming from behind this cover when driving on uneven road. I have uploaded audio file at link below.

Sounds like something has been pushed in and is rattling ?

Put tension on the belt ... does sound stop?

So probably not loose belt mechanism

If it's something metallic, try dragging it out with a magnet? Otherwise, panel off.

Is that panel coming off by just pulling?

I won't TELL anyone that reusing the belt anchorage bolt is ok, but other bolts where that is stated are because the JLR technicians are provided with bolts coated in blue loc-tite equivalent paste .

Personally, I'd reuse but apply some new loc-tite.

Turns out noise was not coming from behind that cover. One of the bottom tailgate locks was stuck open due to age. Tailgate was not locked on one side and rattling. Oiled up and no more noise Smile
