I’ve had bad experience trying to use factory mic

There is a left and right mic holder hole, so I just used the spare one and put some tape over the back.

Did you find that the clarity or reception was alright up there? Wasn’t sure if the grill or the size of the opening would interfere. I suppose that also depends on the quality of the microphone as well.
I haven’t ever pulled the a pillar trim or headliner down to see what the wiring route would look like. I assume it’s pretty straightforward?

That Bluetooth thing is pretty trick. Hadn’t seen one of those yet!

I tested it and found it ok.

I removed the mic from its original casing.

The A pillar comes of easily. A torx under the airbag logo
