quick question for the egr experts

just a quickie regarding the egr's on my d3
i am starting to get a regular code relating to the egr some thing about not reaching its minimum value so i assume its starting to stick open they are both blanked and have been for years so does the code matter as there blanked or will it have some effect on performance or drivability even though there blanked off.
I don't drive it much now as swimbo has it but it seems to be driving the same but does seem flat after about 3500 rpm although im driving a d4 now and it might just be im used to the power of it and swimbo does drive it like miss daisy some time i do wonder if the turbo even spins up as she drives sloooowly Laughing thanks for any replies
 please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

A 2005 is really easy to blank as well as you dont need to patch the ecu

Irrespective of the EGR situation I'd be tempted to take it for a run every now and then to clear out the pipes if SWMBO has a light foot

I also had fault codes relating to egr despite being blanked.
Understand that the motor on the egr have to be in order even if they are blanked.
Anyway I changed one erg and the codes were gone.
