Help with air con warm
Hi could some help supply me some info on how the a/c compressor works on the lr3. I’m formula with the clutch type on most cars but not should how this type works. The a/c is warm and not getting cold enough. I had all three rear pipes don’t last year and it’s still holding pressure but have heard that these suffer with the compressor seized so how can I do a bit of my own diag please advise

Have you checked the system fir fault codes? You could have a faulty blend motor.

That was very good reading. Thank you. And to answer the other questions yes it’s gases up correctly. I’m just used to systems were the compressor clutch clicks in and out. I’m just not getting the car cold. Still

Hi motty
Wonder if this helps in any way , alas could only find the 3.0TDV6 in a RRS , alas don’t know how similar they are with removing the AC compressor
After u open it , press download and will enlarge the page , think it’s folder 412 C
Hope that helps
Ps, also assume the cabin filter is clean

Topix state it’s not a body off compressor clutch looks ok. Gas ok no leaks. Pressure sensor giving me a good readings ground feed and signal. No faults with SDD. Run cal test with flap motors ok pollen filter good. Have run the car over winter on eco mode. Reading on the sensory site this can block damage the pump as it runs all the time. My local indi that I use only uses genuine parts so will kill me on price. So looking for someone with a good rep to change the compressor.
